As many as 14 IPS officers of 2006 batch have been elevated to Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) grade in Andhra Pradesh. The officers are: Dr KolliRaghuram Reddy, Ake Ravi Krishna on central deputation, Sarvashresth Tripathi on inter cadre deputation, R Jayalakshmi on central deputation, G V G Ashok Kumar, G Vijay Kumar, S Hari Krishna, M Ravi Prakash, S V RajasekharBabu, K V Mohan Rao, P H D Ramakrishna, Ake Ravi Krishna on central deputation, SarvashresthTripathi on inter cadre deputation and Mrs R Jayalakshmi.
