Seven IPS officers of the 2009 batch in Bihar have been elevated as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP). They are: Naveen Chandra Jha, Babu Ram, Jayant Kant, Manavjit Singh Dhillon, Harpreet Kaur, Mohammad Abdullah and Vinod Kumar.
