Ambar Kishor Jha, posted as SP, Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) has been elevated to the rank of DIG, BPR&D on deputation basis by temporarily upgrading the post of SP, BPR&D held by the officer up to the remaining approved tenure of the officer i.e. October 13, 2024. He is 2009 batch IPS officer of Telangana cadre.
