AAI celebrates 77 th Independence Day
Airports Authority of India (AAI) celebrated the 77 th Independence Day with patriotic fervor and zeal. On this august occasion, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, AAI unfurled the National flag at Delhi Air Traffic Services Complex of Airports Authority of India at IGI Airport, New Delhi, in the presence of Shri A.K. Pathak, Member (Planning), Dr. H. Srinivas, Member (Human Resources & Finance), and other senior officials of AAI. This was followed by the National Anthem and presentation of Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest by a joint team of CISF and Fire Personnel. While addressing the gathering, the Chairman highlighted the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and paid tribute to them. He said we got freedom due to the efforts of our patriots, now it is our responsibility to maintain the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the nation by performing our duties with full devotion and honesty and contribute to the progress of our country. He also highlighted the role of Indian Civil Aviation sector in the progress of the nation and said that AAI is efficiently working towards making it the one of the best in the world.
