Barapatre Abhay Bhaskar has been designated as Deputy Inspector General of Forests (DIGF), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), New Delhi on deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme of the Ministry for a period of five years. He is a 2006 batch IFoS officer of Sikkim cadre.
