Eight IAS officers transferred in W Bengal

Eight IAS officers in West Bengal have been moved to different places. Anurag Srivastava has been designated as MD, West Bengal State Warehousing Corporation with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Food and Supplies, while Nikhil Nirmal is now MD, WBSIDCL with additional charge of Director, Textiles and Kaushik Halder will join as MD, WB Electronics Industry Development Corporation Ltd. with additional charge of Secretary, IT and Electronics. Similarly, Mrs Smita Pandey will be posted as Chief Executive Officer, State Rural Livelihood Mission; P Mohan Gandhi as Registrar of Cooperative Societies with additional charge of CMD, WB Mineral Development & Trading Corporation; U Swaroop as Director, MS & ME with additional charge of MD, Biswa Bangla Corporation and Devi Prasad Karanam was posted as MD, WB Essential Commodities Supply Corporation Ltd.
