As many as nine IPS officers of various cadres and batches are superannuating in December, 2020. There names are: Mrs Punita Bhardwaj of Himachal Pradesh cadre; Sudhir Kumar Jha of Jharkhand; Dr Rajvir Pratap Sharma of Karnataka; Mrs R Sreelekha and Simon K G of Kerala; D Kanakratnam of Maharashtra; M S Jaffar Sait of Tamil Nadu; Joydeep Nayak of Tripura and Shiv Prasad Upadhayay of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
