The present tenure of Vivek Srivastava at IB, where he is currently posted as Special Director, has been curtailed and he is designated as Director General, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards for a period up to 30 June 2025i.e. date of his superannuation. He is a 1989 batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre. The ACC has approved the proposal.
